To understand Magnolia Traders is to understand the morals and values of the owners of the company.

 

After growing up in a small town in the Missouri bootheel, Donna found herself as a nurse in the big city of Memphis.  About the same time, Jim landed in Memphis after growing up in a small town outside of Nashville.  A few years later, we found each other and soon after fell in love.  Nearly 25 years later, we’ve raised two wonderful children and have recently been blessed with our first grandson.

 

One thing that we have both shared was our love for the traditional values that we both grew up with living in the South.  A culture where a man (or woman) will spend a few cents more for the same product to buy it from someone who cares enough to stand behind their products, rather than some mega-mart type store.  A culture where if the customer is not satisfied with their purchase, the store owner will offer a full cash refund.

 

Too often in today’s warp-speed world, shop owners view customers as just another person.  We are looking to bring back the days where every shop owner wants to build a long-term relationship with their customers.  One where the customer knows that their purchase means more than just “moving products”.  One where we welcome feedback from our customers about the types of products, or improvement to existing products that our customers would like for us to provide.
